free at Kovalam beach
DAY 02:- After Breakfast leave for Trivandrum city for a half day sightseeing tour. Visit the Padmanabhaswami temple, Napier Museum ,Sree Chitra Art Gallery and SMSM institute for handicrafts.
Return to hotel.
DAY 03:-
Morning leave for Kanyakumari ( popularly known as Cape
On arrival at
Kanyakumari, visit the Vevekananda rock memorial, where the foot print
of Goddess parvathi can be seen….
Visit the kumari
temple, Thriveni Sangam ( the meeting place of the 3 seas..) a unique
experince, Gandhi memorial etc
Evening return to
Kovalam beach

DAY 03:- Morning leave for Kanyakumari ( popularly known as Cape Comerin) the southern tip of Indian main land. En route visit Padmanabhapuram Palace, one of the largest wooden palces now existing in the world…., Sucheendram temple with musical pillars etc
On arrival at
Kanyakumari, visit the Vevekananda rock memorial, where the foot print
of Goddess parvathi can be seen….
Visit the kumari

Proceed to Madurai
.On arrival check in hotel
DAY 04:- Morning visit the famous Meenakshy temple, one of the largest temple compexes in India,with its huge towers around and 1000 pillard hall etc.
Also visit
Thirumalai nayak palace, Theppakkulam tank etc
DAY 05:- Morning leave for Periayr wild life reserve,famous for its wild elephants, spice planataions etc.
On arrival check
in hotel. Afternoon boat ride in the artificial Periyar lake to see
the wild animals
DAY 06:- Morning plantaion visit…..see the spice plantations where pepper,cardamom, cinnamon,clove,nutmeg,vanilla etc are grown
DAY 07 :- morning leave for Kottayam. On arrival board on a private motor boat for a 2 hour cruise through the famous backwaters of Kerala. Arrive Alleppey, popularly known as the VENICE of the east. 
Proceed by road to
Cochin, check in hotel
DAY 08 :- Morning sight seeing tour of Cochin, visit the Chinese fishing nets, St. Fransis church, Jewish synagogue and the Dutchpalace
Evening see
Kathakali dance, the famouse dance drama of Kerala.
DAY 09 :- Morning departure transfer to airport / railway station. Tour ends
